Google has rolled out the ability to generate, preview, and edit files directly within Gemini chats for all users. Supported formats include Google Docs, Sheets, slide decks, PDFs, Markdown, TXT, and code, with most editing options currently limited to the web version. Users can expand documents into a full-screen view and highlight specific text within files to prompt the AI for adjustments.
