What happened
Kino AI has launched a collaborative, code-first video editor and media manager built on Remotion that allows human editors and AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex to edit timelines simultaneously. The platform transcribes, embeds, and indexes uploaded footage while representing all timeline items, comments, and motion graphics as React code with addressable URLs.
